Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using the SultanaExpress platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the SultanaExpress platform ("Platform"), operated by SultanaExpress ("Company", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including buyers, suppliers, and visitors. By registering an account, you confirm that you have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.

2. Description of Service

SultanaExpress is a B2B marketplace that connects international buyers with Turkish manufacturers and suppliers. The Platform provides:

  • Supplier discovery and product browsing
  • Request for Quote (RFQ) creation and management
  • Quote comparison and negotiation tools
  • Real-time messaging between buyers and suppliers
  • Order management and tracking
  • Analytics and reporting

SultanaExpress acts as a marketplace facilitator. We do not manufacture, sell, or ship products ourselves. All transactions are between buyers and suppliers directly.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Platform, you must register an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and secure
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate information or violate these Terms.

4. Supplier Verification

SultanaExpress conducts verification procedures for suppliers, including document review, business registration checks, and capability assessments. However:

  • Verification does not constitute a guarantee of product quality, delivery, or business practices
  • Performance tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) reflect historical metrics and are not endorsements
  • Buyers are responsible for their own due diligence before entering into transactions

5. Fees and Commissions

SultanaExpress offers free and paid subscription tiers. The current pricing structure is:

  • Free Tier: $0/month with 5% platform commission on completed transactions
  • Silver Tier: $49/month with 3% platform commission
  • Gold Tier: $149/month with 1% platform commission

We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Changes will not apply to transactions already in progress.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Submit false, misleading, or deceptive information
  • Interfere with the operation of the Platform or other users' access
  • Circumvent Platform fees by conducting transactions outside the Platform after initial contact
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Platform without authorization
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Upload malicious code or content

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, features, content, and branding, is owned by SultanaExpress and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Content you submit to the Platform (product listings, company profiles, messages) remains your property. By submitting content, you grant SultanaExpress a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute it on the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

SultanaExpress is a marketplace facilitator. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of products listed on the Platform
  • We are not liable for the accuracy of supplier profiles or product listings
  • We are not liable for the ability of suppliers to deliver or buyers to pay
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between a buyer and supplier, SultanaExpress may, at its discretion, offer mediation services. However, we are not obligated to resolve disputes and are not a party to transactions between users.

Any disputes between you and SultanaExpress shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey and resolved in the courts of Istanbul.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Platform ceases immediately
  • Outstanding obligations (fees, commissions) remain due
  • We may retain your data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or Platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
